Sound Steppers was founded in 2005 with a handful of people who believe that walking will increase one's health and emotional well-being.
We host sanctioned walking events throughout the year that have both 5k (3.1 miles) and 10k (6.2 miles) lengths. We also maintain the walks that are set up all year round (known as "YRE’s").
At our meetings, we determine what events are coming up that we will host and share general discussions of events that other clubs are hosting.
Other items of discussion include maintenance of year round walks (YRE's), American Volkssport Association news, and other club business.

Sound Steppers Volkssport Club meets on the second Thursday of each month from 6:15pm to 7:30pm
February 2013 change- Meeting is February 7th (the first Monday) to avoid Valentine's Day

Heading north on Aurora (Hwy 99), take a left at 188th Street (west) by the Cycle Barn. Take a right on 60th (north). Go two blocks to church located on your right at 185th. Parking lot is in front of church.
