Sound Steppers Volkssport Club!

Sound Steppers Volkssport Club is an organization which promotes the non-competitive volkssports.

Popular sports (volkssports) are walking, bicycling, swimming, cross country skiing, skating, snowshoeing etc. which are non-competitive and have no specified time limits or "winners." Walking events (volkswalks) are the most popular.

Volkswalks can include the young, the very old, people in wheelchairs, people with pets, and strollers, as well as able-bodied, fit adults. See article in the Woodinville Weekly January 1 archive.

Founded in 2005, Sound Steppers encourages walking by hosting special walking events, maintaining year 'round events, and sharing the vision of the American Volkssport Association (AVA), Evergreen State Volkssport Association (ESVA), and International Federation of Popular Sports (IVV).
